Mendez: Economic Development on the Rise
With a terrain that is moderately undulating, rolling and sloping,
Mendez has a soil type suitable for upland rice, corn, coconut,
rootcrops and coffee production. Coffee is the commercial crop while
food crops include banana, vegetable (chayote), jackfruit, guyabano,
coconut and ube. Multiple cropping is practiced in Mendez. The size of
coffee farms in the town has an average of 1.34 hectares.
